Professional therapy and counseling in Walnut Creek, California

I work with a particular niche of people: individuals stuck in a rut who can’t get out. They have been told all their lives that they have potential, but struggle to make progress with work and in relationships. They have dreams, but their doubt, inner critic and ensuing procrastination is a huge barrier that often snowballs. This is painful. It breeds more anxiety, depression and self-doubt. They see their family and friends working on their goals, and feel they keep getting “lapped.”

In addition to struggles with achievement, there is also a struggle in personal and romantic relationships. As much as you hate it, you allow the people in your life to have too much influence. You care too much what other people think. This causes your relationships to feel inauthentic, one-sided and kind of a drain.

In short, the clients I work with, are sick and tired of letting their doubts and insecurities get in their way. They are searching for a kind of freedom.

In a gentle but direct way, I help my clients understand and remove the barriers that have been weighing them down. I provide space to explore untapped ways of working towards your goals. I help clients develop and improve their relationships with friends, family and partners so that these relationships are reciprocal and based on my client’s true self (not the watered down people pleasing you are used to). I help my clients feel freedom from that inner critic and emboldened to meet their challenges with confidence.

If I just described you, call me for a 15 minute phone consultation to determine if we are a good match, and let’s get you unstuck.
